高分辨率土地覆被数据是基于SPOT或Rapideye遥感影像数据的近红外、红、绿、蓝4个波段，用面向对象分类方法提取得到典型县高分辨率的土地覆盖分类数据产品。基于典型区高分辨率遥感影像（SPOT5：桃源、泰和、会同、肇庆、神木、安塞、固原、长武、隰县，Rapideye：昌都），以多分辨率遥感观测、历史资料整编、站点监测资料收集、野外科学调查等数据手段为基础，研究土地覆被数据分类、精度验证，得到的高精度的土地覆被数据。
High-resolution land cover data refers to high-resolution land cover classification products for typical counties, which are extracted via object-oriented classification methods using the four bands (near-infrared, red, green, and blue) of SPOT or Rapideye remote sensing imagery. This high-precision land cover dataset was developed based on high-resolution remote sensing imagery of typical regions (SPOT5: Taoyuan, Taihe, Huitong, Zhaoqing, Shenmu, Ansai, Guyuan, Changwu, Xixian; Rapideye: Qamdo), through research on land cover classification and accuracy validation, with multi-resolution remote sensing observations, historical data compilation, station monitoring data collection, field scientific surveys and other data acquisition approaches as supports.
