Raw near-bottom sidescan data (JSF format) from Sentry AUV dive 371 at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (AT33-03, 2016)

The near-bottom sidescan data was collected on Sentry AUV dive 371 with an EdgeTech 2205 Dynamic Focus sidescan-only system in 2016 during Atlantis cruise AT33-03 to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (chief scientist Mark Kurz). The data files are in JSF format (compatible with MB-System as mbio format 133) and contain raw sidescan data that has not been merged with navigation. The data set was generated as part of the project called Coupling Mantle Volatiles, Eruption Dynamics, and Tectonics on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Funding was provided from NSF award OCE12-59218.

本次近底侧扫声呐数据采集于2016年亚特兰蒂斯号科考航次AT33-03（首席科学家马克·库尔茨（Mark Kurz））执行的大西洋中脊科考任务中，搭载平台为Sentry自主水下航行器（Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV）第371次下潜，所用设备为EdgeTech 2205型动态聚焦单侧扫声呐系统。数据文件采用JSF格式（兼容MB-System的mbio格式133），包含未与导航数据合并的原始侧扫声呐数据。本数据集是"大西洋中脊幔源挥发分、喷发动力学与构造耦合"研究项目的产出成果，研究经费由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）奖项OCE12-59218资助。
