This thesis presents a competency-based pedagogical model for developing AI literacy among pre-service teachers in pedagogical education. The model's five structural blocks, three assessment criteria, and four developmental levels are briefly outlined. The experimental research base included Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute, Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, and Fergana State University; expert evaluation (Kendall's W = 0.83; CVR = 0.80) confirmed the model's scientific validity.
