A FASTA file containing sequences used for probe design for a customised depletion of mosquito ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequences in order to increase the sensitivity of viral metatranscriptomic sequencing. The sequences include both publicly available mosquito rRNA sequences, and also highly abundant assembled mosquito contigs from previous metatranscriptomic sequencing of mosquito pools.
