# Usage For organisations that endeavour to implement an environmental management system in accordance to ISO14001. <p><br/></p> # Product The EMS_DB provides the database structure for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It gives guidance on what data to gather and in which structure by means of various tables. Using the EMS_DB database gives you the opportunity to centralize your ISO 14001 data, provide internal and external access to the data (for example to colleagues, stakeholders and ISO auditors) and applying for the ISO certification. The EMS_DB could also serve as the source database of an EMS tool. <p><br/></p> # **Data** Inside the EMS_DB you will find mostly empty tables that need to be filled by the users of this product. Only the parameter tables (tables with suffixes '_NAME' and '_TYPE' and the 'RATING' table) already hold default records based on the ISO 14001:2015 document. Feel free to add extra records to these tables if required. <p><br/></p> # **Prerequisites** - Knowledge about Environmental Management - In possession of the ISO 14001:2015 document - Access to your company’s Environmental Management data - Knowledge about Snowflake, specifically how to insert data
