Braemar Pockmarks SAC Habitat Map

Habitat map created from data collected on the RV Cefas Endeavour CEND19x12 2012 survey to Braemar Pockmarks SAC. Sublittoral sediments defined using acoustic and groundtruth data. Classified in EUNIS 20017-11. Survey Techniques: Multibeam echosounder, sidescan sonar, dropcam video tows and still photography. Infaunal sample and particle size analysis (PSA) carried out on 0.1m2 Day and Hamon grab samples. The habitat map was produced using EUNIS classes obtained from PSA data and interpretations from still images.本栖息地地图基于2012年RV Cefas Endeavour（CEND19x12）科考航次的采集数据制作，航次作业区域为布雷马尔凹坑特殊保育区（Braemar Pockmarks SAC）。研究通过声学探测与实地验证数据界定潮下带沉积物，并按照欧洲自然信息系统（European Nature Information System, EUNIS）20017-11分类体系完成分类。 调查技术包括：多波束测深仪、侧扫声呐、水下摄像拖曳作业及静态摄影。研究采用0.1平方米Day型与Hamon型采泥器采集底内生物样本，并开展粒度分析（Particle Size Analysis, PSA）。 本栖息地地图基于粒度分析（PSA）数据得到的EUNIS分类单元，结合静态影像解译结果制作完成。
