This data product was developed through digital processing based on Volume 1 of the National Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Efficiency Monitoring Network section within the Farmland Ecosystem Volume of the *China Ecosystem Fixed Observation and Research Dataset* series, by refining metadata and associating it with physical entity data. This data product contains long-term monitoring data on the growth stage dynamics of major crops in farmland ecosystems of major soil types across China, collected by the National Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Efficiency Monitoring Network. The dataset spans the period from 1990 to 2000. Crop growth dynamics data serves as a critical parameter for research on farmland ecosystems of major soil types nationwide, providing foundational data support for such studies. Additionally, this data product includes associated documents that introduce the monitoring stations of the National Soil Fertility and Fertilizer Efficiency Monitoring Network, as well as the methods and procedures for acquiring observation indicators.
