本数据是1949-1987中全国人口数及构成 (年底数），根据全国林业统计资料汇编1949-1987整理获得，统计了全国（除台湾、香港、澳门）29个省市自治区和部直属单位1949-1987中全国人口数及构成 (年底数）。
This dataset provides national population counts and their demographic compositions, formatted as year-end data for the years 1949 through 1987. It was compiled based on "National Forestry Statistical Compilation 1949-1987". The statistical scope covers 29 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, autonomous regions, and units directly subordinate to central ministries across mainland China (excluding Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao), with the dataset recording the national population figures and their compositions for the 1949–1987 period.
