On Germany’s motorways and extra-local federal roads, all vehicles are permanently counted at automatic counting points. Depending on the type of equipment used, up to nine vehicle types can be distinguished.
The data are collected by the Länder and transmitted to the BASt on a quarterly basis. On this basis, annual mileage and average daily traffic strengths (DTV) are calculated. The data form an important basis for traffic or construction decisions and measures

在德国高速公路及跨地方联邦公路上，所有车辆均通过自动计数点位进行持续计数。根据所使用的设备类型，最多可区分九种车辆类别。
此类数据由德国各联邦州（Länder）采集，并按季度传输至BASt。基于该数据集可计算年度行驶里程与日平均交通强度（DTV），其为交通或基建决策及相关举措提供了重要支撑。
