This dataset includes CTD and EM current meter measurements from two Teledyne EM-APEX floats (serial numbers 8135 and 8136) deployed on the JR18004 ORCHESTRA cruise around Discovery Bank in the Weddell-Scotia Confluence. The data were collected as part of the NERC-funded ORCHESTRA research programme (2016-2021), to understand the fine scale hydrographic and velocity structure around seamounts to the east of Orkney Passage. The data were processed by Alexander Brearley (BAS) and James Girton (UW).
