<b>--------------------------------</b><b>VGG-360 Face Dataset</b><b>--------------------------------</b><b><br></b><b><br></b>Description:<br><b><br></b>This dataset uses images from the <b>VGG Face Dataset</b> of Oxford University (http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~vgg/data/vgg_face) to simulate, for each face image, 10 different projections on a 360º camera. This is done by using camera angle information from <b>MOT-360 Face Dataset</b> (which can be downloaded at https://figshare.com/s/5f8a69937014e4720625) and the pixel coordinates of the eyes of each face image. As these coordinates are not provided by the original authors, the Dlib Face Detector (http://dlib.net/) was used in this process. However, the detector could not be able to detect all faces from the VGG Face Dataset. Therefore, approximately 750K from this dataset images were used to simulate the projections, yielding a total of 7.5M images in this dataset.<br>Citation:<br><br>When referencing the dataset, please use the following BibTex citation:<br>@inproceedings{Cirne2019,author = "M. 本数据集依托牛津大学VGG人脸数据集(VGG Face Dataset,http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~vgg/data/vgg_face)中的图像,针对每张人脸图像模拟其在360°相机下的10种不同投影效果。该流程借助MOT-360人脸数据集(MOT-360 Face Dataset,https://figshare.com/s/5f8a69937014e4720625)所提供的相机角度信息,以及每张人脸图像的眼部像素坐标完成。由于原始数据集的作者未提供上述坐标,本研究采用Dlib人脸检测器(Dlib Face Detector,http://dlib.net/)提取相关坐标。但该检测器无法检出VGG人脸数据集中的全部人脸,因此最终仅选取原数据集约75万张图像开展投影模拟,最终生成本数据集共计750万张图像。
