Tegiszhol: radiocarbon determinations from Russian-language steppe archaeology
收藏资源简介:
1,425 radiocarbon determinations extracted from 46 Russian-, Kazakh- and Ukrainian-language archaeology publications covering the Eurasian steppe and forest-steppe. Roughly 90% do not appear in any public international compilation.179 determinations (12.6%) were transcribed blind from page images by 15 paid annotators; on radiocarbon age and error there is no confirmed transcription error, placing the error rate for those fields below 1.7% at 95% confidence. Version 1.1 raises geographic coverage from 11% to 16% (148 to 201 determinations) and corrects one coordinate that v1.0 had placed in Ghana. New coordinates come from region-constrained gazetteer queries, districts read out of the papers, and one inherited from CalPal — each validated against the administrative region its own source states. Version 1.1 remains PROVISIONAL: coordinates cover only 16% of records, the site field is not verified to the same standard as age, and novelty is an upper bound — see README.md for the full limitations.
