数据在中国地质科学院国家地质测试中心用纯化的Os和Re分别加载到Pt丝中,并使用负离子热电离质谱(NTIMS),使用第二电子倍增器(SEM)在峰值跳跃模式下对Os和静态法拉第收集器进行分析。测试结果表明梅岭南Cu–Zn矿床黄铜矿Re-Os等时线年龄为434.2±3.9 Ma,红石Cu 矿床黄铜矿Re-Os等时线年龄为431.8±2.7 Ma。Re-Os年龄表明,由于在晚奥陶世 - 志留纪期间克拉梅里海洋板块的南倾俯冲,热液脉型和VMS型矿床同时形成于这一火山活动中。

The analyses were conducted at the National Geological Testing Center, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. Purified osmium (Os) and rhenium (Re) were separately loaded onto Pt filaments, and measured using negative-ion thermal ionization mass spectrometry (NTIMS), with Os analyzed in peak-hopping mode via a secondary electron multiplier (SEM) and Re collected by static Faraday cup collectors. The test results show that the Re-Os isochron age of chalcopyrite from the Meiling South Cu-Zn deposit is 434.2±3.9 Ma, and that from the Hongshi Cu deposit is 431.8±2.7 Ma. The Re-Os ages indicate that hydrothermal vein-type and volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits formed synchronously during this volcanic activity, driven by the south-dipping subduction of the Kelameili oceanic plate during the Late Ordovician–Silurian period.
