Aquaculture fish and seafood production in China 1980-2022, by marine and inland

In 2022, the production volume of fish and seafood (excluding algae) in aquaculture in China came to approximately 52.9 million metric tons. The total volume of aquatic animals produced in aquaculture inland waters in China was higher than that in marine areas and amounted to around 32.9 million metric tons.
