The Chambered Nautilus (Nautilus pompilius) also referred to as the Pearly Nautilus, is the most commonly known species of Nautilus. It is one of the six species of Nautilus that has an external shell. The Chambered Nautilus is able to retract into its shell when it feels threatened.
