恰巴哈尔港(伊朗)至奥尔马拉港(巴基斯坦)沿岸40 km内土地覆被数据集(1990,2000,2010,2017)覆盖自伊朗恰巴哈尔港至巴基斯坦奥尔马拉港沿海岸40 km内区域,数据记录年度为1990、2000、2010和2017年。该数据集的研发是基于Landsat TM/OLI影像,计算植被指数(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI)、水体指数(Normalized Difference Water Index, NDWI)、裸土指数(Bare Soil Index, BSI)和建筑指数(Normalized Difference Built-Up Index, NDBI),并采用决策树分类法和监督分类法完成的。数据结果与Google Earth的高分辨率影像进行了比对和验证。数据结果表明,1990-2007年,恰巴哈尔—奥尔马拉海岸带伊朗段城镇建设用地面积扩大了15倍,巴基斯坦段扩大了10倍。数据的空间分辨率为30 m。数据集存储为.tif格式,由4个数据文件组成,数据量为269 MB(压缩为1个文件,12.0 MB)。

The land cover dataset within 40 km along the coast from Chabahar Port (Iran) to Ormara Port (Pakistan) covers the coastal region spanning 40 km inland from the shoreline between Chabahar Port, Iran and Ormara Port, Pakistan, with data records for the years 1990, 2000, 2010 and 2017. This dataset was developed using Landsat TM/OLI imagery, by calculating four spectral indices: the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI), Bare Soil Index (BSI) and Normalized Difference Built-Up Index (NDBI), and adopting decision tree classification and supervised classification methods to complete land cover mapping. The classification results were compared and validated against high-resolution Google Earth imagery. The results indicate that from 1990 to 2007, the area of urban construction land in the Iranian segment of the Chabahar-Ormara coastal zone expanded 15-fold, while that in the Pakistani segment expanded 10-fold. The dataset has a spatial resolution of 30 m, is stored in .tif format, and consists of 4 individual data files with an uncompressed total size of 269 MB. The compressed version is a single file of 12.0 MB.
