Each month, over 170 million granular, consented pageviews are collected using Gener8’s desktop browser and extensions (Chrome and Firefox) and mobile apps (Safari on iOS).

Activity is shared on a real-time basis and at an event level, scrubbed of PII and delivered as a feed at an agreed frequency, e.g. hourly, weekly. The feed can be filtered so that specific URLs or categories can be delivered, i.e. ‘search’, which would include any searches made on search engines or platforms, such as Ebay or Amazon. The feed is available ‘raw’, with a complete and granular view of the data, or ‘processed’, which provides a summary by day of websites visited.

With Gener8, the more data people share, the more points they earn, which they then redeem in the marketplace. The way in which data is collected and monetised means that Gener8 offers a transparent and ethical value exchange, with the data being CCPA/GDPR compliant.

Users are incentivised to share their demographic data during onboarding which can be utilised with any dataset, enabling a deeper understanding of the panel. This includes age, gender, education, income and location.

Finally, all users are given a persistent Gener8 userID, which runs across any data source they share. Leveraging this data enables Gener8 to provide actionable insights based on consumer behaviour, from a stable source that complies with Data Privacy Regulations.
