Phylogenies, Locality data, and Biogeography Matrices for Miconieae

The archive contains three kinds of files: a comma-separated table of raw georeferenced locality points for all Caribbean <i>Miconiae</i> records used in the study; two time-calibrated maximum-clade-credibility phylogeny in Newick format (one of all Caribbean Melastomes, the other of just Caribbean Miconieae); and five PHYLIP-format presence/absence matrices that code the distributions of different species across predefined Caribbean biogeographic areas, with one matrix for each of the major <i>Miconia</i> clades analysed.
