We examined the effect of SCFA supplements on gut microbiota and systemic inflammation using the imiquimod-treated C57BL/6 mice. We conducted a metagenome-wide association study of IMQ-mice with SCFA supplements or IL-17 antagonists using whole-genome shotgun sequencing. The study was performed following the pipelines of phylogenetic analysis, functional gene analysis, and pathway analysis.
