Fungal colonization leads to enhanced granulopoiesis in the bone marrow. The purpose of the study is to understand the alteration of cell compostions and transcriptional profile under CA colonization. Overall design: Laboratory mice (C57BL/6J) under antibiotic treatment were orally innoculated with PBS or Candida albicans SC3514 (4 mice per group). After 3 weeks, BM hematopoietic cells were harvested. Cells from each mouse were then hashtagged following RBC lysis process.
