The cartographic model 1:50 000 – grid (KM50-R) is the digital state map of the entire Austrian territory in a basic scale of 1:50 000. It is free of blades and georeferenced. The update takes place nationwide at periodic intervals but also on occasions in the event of significant infrastructural changes. The Austrian map 1:50 000 (ÖK50) – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) – as well as the Austrian map 1:25 000 (ÖK25V) is derived from the KM50-R. This 50 km x 50 km tile is one of a total of 63 tiles, which together cover the territory of Austria1:50000比例尺制图格网模型（KM50-R）是覆盖奥地利全境的1:50000基础比例尺数字官方地图，具备地理配准属性且未经过裁切。该数据集采用全国周期性更新机制，同时在发生重大基础设施变更时亦可开展应急更新。依托与联邦国防部（BMLV）的合作，1:50000比例尺奥地利地图（ÖK50）与1:25000比例尺奥地利地图（ÖK25V）均衍生自KM50-R。该50千米×50千米的图块为覆盖奥地利全境的总计63个同类图块之一。
