资源简介:
The OMPS formaldehyde vertical column densities and uncertainties (González Abad et al., 2016) were oversampled using a tessellation method (Zhu et al., 2014; Sun et al., 2018) for "an inversion framework for optimizing non-methane VOC emissions using remote sensing and airborne observations in Northeast Asia during the KORUS-AQ field campaign" (Choi et al., to be submitted). The data domain spans Korea and eastern China.
The data was calculated using the OMPS differential slant column densities, uncertainties, and averaging kernels, and the formaldehyde concentrations simulated by a 2°x2.5° GEOS-Chem simulation. The data was oversampled by 10-day sub-periods of the KORUS-AQ campaign in May-June 2016 into a 0.25°x0.3125° horizontal resolution. A uniform bias of the data (60%) was calculated and corrected using a method suggested by Zhu et al., 2020.
The data set is associated with the article "An inversion framework for optimizing non-methane VOC emissions using remote sensing and airborne observations in Northeast Asia during the KORUS-AQ field campaign (Choi et al., to be submitted)".
