资源简介:

This Dalton adz was found at a multi-component site (31WA2199) in eastern Wake County, NC. This type of artifact was a wood working tool and may have been used to construct dugout canoes or other wooden objects. Similar Dalton adzes have been found associated with Paleo-Indian (10,000-8,000 B.C.) and Early Archaic (8,000-6,000 B.C.) period contexts. This artifact was made from a metavolcanic stone commonly called rhyolite and measures 11.8 cm long, 4.6 cm wide, 3 cm thick and weighs approximately 171 grams. This model was constructed by David Cranford with 33 photos using Agisoft Metashape. (Credit: NCDNCR/OSA) Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
