The Mid-Higuera Bypass Project is located on San Luis Obispo Creek in the City of San Luis Obispo. The action area spans from 150 feet upstream of the Marsh Street Bridge downstream to the Madonna Road Bridge and involves creation of a flood bypass channel as well as a number of habitat restoration elements (e.g., native riparian revegetation, instream habitat complexity units).
