Herbivory modifies symbiont number and impact on host plant performance in the field: Data, metadata, and R code

This dataset is from a field experiment at the Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology in Linesville, Pennsylvania in June-September, 2019. In this experiment we manipulated aboveground herbivores and measured the impact of our herbivory treatments on two root endosymbionts: mutualistic nitrogen-fixing bacteria and parasitic root-knot nematodes.本数据集源自2019年6月至9月，于宾夕法尼亚州莱因斯维尔市派马图宁生态实验室（Pymatuning Laboratory of Ecology）开展的一项野外实验。本实验中，研究人员对地上植食动物进行了人为调控，并测定了植食处理对两类根系内共生体的影响：互利共生固氮细菌与寄生性根结线虫。
