This dataset accurately quantifies the grazing pressure endured by the Jianghuyuan region from 2001 to 2020. By utilizing multi-source factors including climate, topography, vegetation, human activities, water sources and roads as input variables for machine learning models, it successfully downscales the township-level livestock density in suitable grazing areas to a grid scale of 545×545m. The model achieves a mean absolute error of only 0.068 SU/km² and a coefficient of determination as high as 0.98, which fully demonstrates that this dataset boasts the highest accuracy and optimal quality among existing comparable studies. In-depth analysis of the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of grazing pressure revealed by this dataset can provide solid scientific basis for the sustainable development of animal husbandry and the effective ecological environment management in the Jianghuyuan region.
