Meanwhile, by analyzing parking capacity utilization rate, parking space vacancy rate and time slot classification, parking demand during peak hours can be predicted and addressed, providing better parking guidance services. Urban traffic management departments can optimize the allocation of parking resources and reduce traffic congestion caused by drivers searching for parking spaces. (1) Data Cleaning: Clean the dataset, including removing abnormal data and handling missing values. (2) Data Acquisition and Processing: When a vehicle enters a parking lot, cameras and barrier gate equipment will capture and recognize the vehicle entry information in real time, and transmit the entry data to the parking system, with the real-time remaining parking spaces decreased by 1. When a vehicle leaves the parking lot, after being recognized by barrier gate equipment and cameras, the exit data will be transmitted to the parking system, with the real-time remaining parking spaces increased by 1. The parking system updates the number of real-time remaining parking spaces in real time. Parking capacity utilization rate analysis = (Exact number of parking spaces - Real-time remaining parking spaces) / Exact number of parking spaces * 100%; Parking space vacancy rate = Real-time remaining parking spaces / Exact number of parking spaces * 100%; Time slot classification is based on the algorithm rules of parking capacity utilization rate analysis. This rule defines peak hours (utilization rate ≥ 70%), off-peak hours (utilization rate ≤ 30%) and mid-peak hours (30% < utilization rate < 70%) by calculating the utilization rate at each time point.
