Fecal metagenomic profiles of high fat diet fed Swiss albino mice in comparison to the normal diet fed mice and mice fed with high fat diet along with prophylactic supplementation of Lactobacillus plantarum strain KAD

Animals were divided into 3 groups each comprising of six animals. One batch of animal received High Fat Diet and was termed as HFD group. Second batch received the same HFD along with daily supplementation of Lactobacillus plantarum KAD, the 16S rRNA sequence of which is submitted in NCBI with Accession Number OQ306564 and termed as LP group. Third batch received normal pellet-based diet and termed as ND group. The entire experimentation ran for eight weeks.
