Mitogenome Data from Flores-Huacuja M, et. al. Demographic History of Indigenous Populations in Mexico Explored Through Whole Mitogenome Analysis

The presentación data include the genotypes obtained from the Mitogenome sequencing of 572 Mexican Native Americans. Mitogenome sequencing reaction was carried out on the Ion PGM TM System. Raw reads were mapped to the Cambridge reference sequence for human mitochondrial DNA , and variant discovery was performed using HaplotypeCaller from GATK v3.7, setting the ploidy parameter to 1, to exclude heteroplasmy in the mtDNA.
