Industrial water consumption

Industry consumes significant amounts of water. The consumption of water for human activities exerts considerable pressure on groundwater and surface water resources and can lead to a decrease in water resources and in the quality of available water for man and nature. ‘Other water’ is water from the product, ice, waste water from another company or (drinking) water traded between businesses.工业领域用水消耗量十分可观。人类活动产生的用水需求会对地下水与地表水资源造成显著压力，不仅会导致水资源总量缩减，还会降低可供人类与自然使用的水体质量。“其他用水（Other water）”指源自产品的用水、冰、其他企业排放的废水，或是企业间交易的（饮用）水。
