资源简介:
Microbial biofloc from a microaerophilic assimilation-based recirculating aquaculture system, with different carbon sources (semolina or sugar), was used in this study to evaluate its feasibility as a partial substitute for commercial fish feed in the diet of barramundi (Lates calcarifer). Three diets with varying biofloc levels (15% and 25% semolina biofloc, and 25% sugar biofloc) were compared with a standard control feed. The effects on fish growth, health, and resistance to bacterial infection were assessed through barramundi feeding trials for 10 weeks, cultured at a density of 1.9 kg/tank, and fed at a rate of 2% body weight per day in triplicates. The inclusion of microbial biofloc had no adverse effects on the gut microbiome
