Collection and presentation of ecosystem services.

This report presents for the first time the most important ecosystem services for Austria in maps nationwide. The quantitative coverage of these ecosystem services is carried out by means of selected indicators, which are described in the same way as the methods used and the data bases taken into account. This presentation of the current state of ecosystem services can be seen as a basis for identifying future trends in the use of ecosystem services. The results of the report thus contribute to the implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy and serve as a means of communication to raise public awareness. In addition, they enable the planning of necessary measures by policy makers to secure our livelihoods, ecosystems and their services.本报告首次以全国性地图形式呈现奥地利境内的核心生态系统服务（ecosystem services）。本研究通过精选量化指标对上述生态系统服务开展定量评估，相关指标、所用方法及纳入的数据库均已详细说明。本次呈现的生态系统服务现状，可作为识别生态系统服务利用未来趋势的基础依据。因此，本报告的研究成果有助于落实《欧盟生物多样性战略》，同时可作为科普宣传载体提升公众认知水平。此外，这些成果可为政策制定者规划必要举措提供支撑，以保障人类生计、生态系统及其服务功能。
