Tricuspid Valve Repair with Autologous Pericardium in a Patient with Infective Endocarditis

Abstract Infective endocarditis is a rather uncommon disease, but it has significant mortality rates in the pediatric population (5% to 10%). We report a case of an infant patient with multiple vegetation in the tricuspid valve secondary to infective endocarditis caused by Corynebacterium diphtheriae. A tricuspid valvuloplasty was performed with a fenestrated autologous pericardium patch, providing satisfactory outcomes. This technique is simple, innovative, effective, and it could be applied in similar cases.摘要 感染性心内膜炎是一种较为少见的疾病，但其在儿科人群中的病死率可达5%至10%。本文报告1例由白喉棒状杆菌（Corynebacterium diphtheriae）感染引发的感染性心内膜炎继发三尖瓣多发赘生物的婴儿病例。术中采用带孔自体心包片行三尖瓣成形术，取得了满意的治疗效果。该术式操作简便、创新性强且疗效确切，可推广应用于同类临床病例。
