叶面积指数(LeafAreaIndex,LAI)表示单位土地面积上植物叶片总面积占土地面积的倍数。本数据集为体现植被结构的中国区域叶面积指数数据集，为8天合成LAI数据，数据时间为1994年1月-1994年12月。
文件名：LAI.A1994001.china.tif为1994年第1天至第8天LAI合成数据。
Leaf Area Index (LAI) is defined as the multiple of the total area of plant leaves per unit land area relative to the land area. This dataset is a China-region Leaf Area Index dataset that reflects vegetation structure, consisting of 8-day composite LAI data covering the period from January 1994 to December 1994. The file named LAI.A1994001.china.tif corresponds to the composite LAI data from the 1st to the 8th day of 1994.
