This dataset provides land cover type information for Puerto Rico, covering the year 2020, with a geographic coverage ranging from -72°9′21″ to -59°50′38″ in longitude and 14°55′51″ to 20°5′34″ in latitude. The dataset is sourced from the website https://www.webmap.cn/commres.do?method=globeIndex. The included land cover categories are cropland, forest, grassland, shrubland, wetland, water bodies, tundra, artificial surfaces, barren land, glaciers and permanent snow and ice. Preprocessing operations including projection and mosaicking were performed on the original data to generate a usable dataset.
