Evaluation of the applicability of optical water index to different types of water

We evaluate the applicability of the absolute optical water index to different types of water bodies. The evaluation process for each type of water body is as follows: First,12 water body indexes are calculated using Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2 satellite images. In the second step, the K-means unsupervised classification method was used to classify the images, and the classification results were combined into two categories: water body and non-water body. The third step is to manually vectorize the true color image and evaluate the accuracy in ENVI.本研究评估了绝对光学水体指数（absolute optical water index）对不同类型水体的适用性。针对各类水体的评估流程如下：其一，借助Landsat-8与Sentinel-2卫星影像计算12种水体指数；其二，采用K-means（K均值）无监督分类法对影像开展分类，并将分类结果划分为水体与非水体两类；其三，对真彩色影像进行手动矢量化，并在ENVI软件中完成精度评估。
