Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired along the Lau Back-arc Spreading Center during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9914 (1999)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9914 conducted in 1999 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Alistair Harding). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the at-sea science party and the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): A MCS Survey of the Lau Spreading Center: A New Look into Crustal Accretion at Back Arc Spreading Centers, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE95-29870 and OCE95-30325.
