The Branch is divided into five sections dealing with the specialised areas of analytical chemistry, plant and cereal chemistry, soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil morphology, and land use assessment. This series comprises articles extracted from journals concerning chemical analyses and practical uses of various substances of animal, vegetable and mineral origin. The extracts are attached to cards arranged alphabetically by subject. They are predominantly pharmacy journal articles, both Australian and overseas, with occasional extracts from journals such as "Farm in South Africa" and "The Metal Industry(2/2037-40). 4 boxes.
