On Germany’s motorways and extra-local federal roads, all vehicles are permanently counted at automatic counting points. Depending on the type of equipment used, up to nine vehicle types can be distinguished.
The data are collected by the Länder and transmitted to the BASt on a quarterly basis. On this basis, annual mileage and average daily traffic strengths (DTV) are calculated. The data form an important basis for traffic or construction decisions and measures

在德国高速公路及跨地方联邦公路上，所有车辆均在自动计数点位持续记录。根据所使用的设备类型，最多可区分九种车型。
该数据由德国各联邦州收集，并按季度传输至BASt。在此基础上可计算年行驶里程与日均交通强度（DTV）。此类数据为交通或工程决策及相关措施提供了重要依据。
