Based on the dynamic return period, this dataset defines the extreme high temperature thresholds with recurrence intervals ranging from 5-year to 100-year at 754 meteorological stations across China during 1979-2018, and derives the extreme high temperature frequencies and the corresponding annual extreme high temperature frequency distribution atlas therefrom.
