Agri-environmental measures (AEM) are measures put in place in the European Union under the common agricultural policy, in return for payments to voluntary farmers.
In France, MAETs are “territorialised EAMs” (e.g. in the natura 2000 zone).
In 2013, the Strategic Analysis Centre (CAS) recommended an extension of the duration of contracts, as well as a generalisation of the territorialisation of EAWs2.
From 2014 to 2020, to better take into account and reduce the negative climate effects of agriculture, but also its potential to improve carbon sinks or recover the methane it can produce from biomass of agri-food waste, for example, the EAFRD in Europe should be able to finance new “MAEC” (agricultural and climate measures)

农业环境措施（Agri-environmental Measures，AEM）是欧盟在共同农业政策框架下推出的专项举措，针对自愿参与的农户提供财政补贴作为回报。
在法国，MAETs指代"属地化农业环境措施（Territorialised EAMs）"，例如设于Natura 2000保护区内的相关项目。
2013年，战略分析中心（Strategic Analysis Centre，CAS）建议延长合同期限，并全面推广农业环境措施（EAWs）的属地化管理²。
2014至2020年期间，为更好地考量并降低农业活动的负面气候影响，同时充分挖掘其增强碳汇能力、回收利用农食废弃物生物质所产生的甲烷等潜力，欧盟农业与农村发展基金（European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development，EAFRD）应可为新型"农业与气候措施（MAEC）"提供资金支持。
