Screening for the telomerase RNA component in Caenorhabditis elegans by FLAG-TRT-1 eCLIP.

The telomerase RNA component has been unidentified in C. elegans. To identify the telomerase RNA, we generated a C. elegans strain overexpressing FLAG-TRT-1, the catalytic subunit of telomerase, and biochemically screened for FLAG-TRT-1-binding RNAs by enhanced crosslinking and immunoprecipitation (eCLIP) assay. Overall design: eCLIP studies were performed by Eclipse Bioinnovations Inc (San Diego, www.eclipsebio.com) according to the published single-end CLIP protocol.
