Phytoplankton species counts (cells mL-1) for regular (approximately 6 weekly) sampling at long term monitoring station in Western Irish Sea (position 53° 47.03N; 5° 38.20W).
Samples collected from Niskin bottle at surface and preserved with lugols iodine. These are then analysed employing the Utermöhl inverted microscopy method.
