Hawaiian Islands Cetacean and Ecosystem Assessment Survey (HICEAS) satellite telemetry data, 2017

The Hawaiian Islands Cetacean and Ecosystem Assessment Survey (HICEAS) of 2017 was a large-scale ship survey for cetaceans and seabirds within U.S. waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands. Seven satellite tags were deployed during HICEAS, including 4 on false killer whales, and 3 on short-finned pilot whales. This data set includes a total of 4 .csv files; 2 for each species tagged during HICEAS. One file contains the details of the satellite tag deployments and the second file contains the satellite telemetry locations with associated information.2017年夏威夷群岛鲸类与生态系统评估调查（Hawaiian Islands Cetacean and Ecosystem Assessment Survey，简称HICEAS）是一项针对夏威夷群岛周边美国管辖海域内鲸类与海鸟的大规模船载调查。本次调查期间共部署7枚卫星标记标签，其中4枚安装于伪虎鲸（false killer whale）身上，剩余3枚安装于短鳍领航鲸（short-finned pilot whale）身上。本数据集总计包含4个CSV文件，对应本次调查中标记的2个物种各2份文件：其中一份文件记录卫星标记标签的部署详情，另一份文件则收录卫星遥测定位数据及相关关联信息。
