Protected areas — Natura 2000 (INSPIRE harmonised) WMS

Natura 2000 is the coherent network of protected natural areas in the European Union consisting of Birds Directive and Habitats Directive Areas. Natura 2000 sites are a combination of both and the protected natural monuments therein. In total, these are more than 200 areas, three of which are marine areas in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the North Sea. The Birds Directive areas were largely designated in the period 1986-2000. The Habitats Directive sites are designated with the designation of the Natura 2000 sites concerned. This file contains the boundaries of the definitively designated areas (state of November 2018) and the borders in line with the draft decision of most other areas. Of two Habitats Directive areas (Krammer-Volkerak and Zoommeer) on land, this dataset contains the borders as reported to the European Commission. In this dataset, limits of underground limestone quarries have been added to a number of areas in South Limburg. Unlike the regular Habitats Directive area, only the underground quarries form part of the Habitats Directive area in these areas.Natura 2000（自然2000保护网络）是欧盟境内统筹协调的自然保护地网络，由鸟类指令（Birds Directive）保护地与生境指令（Habitats Directive）保护地共同构成。该网络的保护地同时涵盖上述两类保护地及其内部的保护自然遗迹。目前此类保护地总计超过200处，其中3处为位于北海海域的专属经济区（Exclusive Economic Zone，EEZ）海洋保护地。鸟类指令保护地主要在1986年至2000年期间完成划定；生境指令保护地则随对应Natura 2000保护地的认定流程同步完成划定。本数据集包含截至2018年11月已正式生效的保护地边界，以及多数其余保护地对应的决策草案边界。针对两处陆域生境指令保护地——克拉默-沃尔克拉赫（Krammer-Volkerak）与宗梅尔（Zoommeer），本数据集收录了上报至欧盟委员会（European Commission）的边界信息。在南林堡（South Limburg）的部分保护地中，本数据集额外补充了地下石灰岩采石场的边界范围。与常规生境指令保护地不同，此类保护地范围内仅地下采石场属于生境指令保护地的组成部分。
