Number of international patents granted to Indian Oil Corporation FY 2017-2020

In the financial year 2020, Indian Oil Corporation Limited was granted a total of 91 international patents. The number of international patents increased steadily since the financial year 2017. A rise in the number of employees working for the research and development department was also witnessed. IOCL had a collaborative research purpose partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Simon Fraser University, Canada, and Deakin University, Australia.
