数据集记录了大别山北麓黄土-古土壤剖面磁化率和Rb、Sr数据。大别山是中国南北地理格局和气候带的分界线,对大别山黄土-古土壤展开系统的研究对于中国中东部古气候环境演变的研究具有重要意义;为此,选择大别山北麓黄土-古土壤剖面进行分析,探索剖面中Rb、Sr元素及磁化率的时空分布特征,Rb、Sr质量分数变化对成土环境的指示作用及ω(Rb)/ω(Sr)值分布特征所反映的研究区域季风环流的时空演变特征。磁化率和古地磁测试在西北大学大陆动力学国家重点实验室古地磁室进行,磁化率测量选用捷克生产的卡帕桥(KLY-4S)磁化率仪。Rb和Sr质量分数由国土资源部合肥矿产资源监督检测中心采用X射线荧光光谱法进行测定。严格按照实验操作规范和仪器操作规范进行观测和数据采集,以保证数据的质量。最终数据保留两位小数。

This dataset compiles magnetic susceptibility, Rb and Sr data from the loess-paleosol profile on the northern piedmont of the Dabie Mountains. The Dabie Mountains serve as a critical boundary for the geographical framework and climate zones between northern and southern China. Consequently, systematic research on the loess-paleosol sequences in the Dabie Mountains is of great significance for investigating paleoclimate and environmental evolution in central and eastern China. To this end, the loess-paleosol profile on the northern piedmont of the Dabie Mountains was selected for analysis, aiming to characterize the temporal and spatial distributions of Rb, Sr elements and magnetic susceptibility within the profile, clarify the indicative significance of variations in Rb and Sr mass fractions for pedogenic environments, and reveal the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of monsoon circulation in the study area as reflected by the distribution pattern of ω(Rb)/ω(Sr) values. Magnetic susceptibility and paleomagnetic measurements were conducted in the Paleomagnetism Laboratory of the State Key Laboratory of Continental Dynamics, Northwest University. A KLY-4S magnetic susceptibility bridge manufactured in the Czech Republic was used for magnetic susceptibility testing. The mass fractions of Rb and Sr were determined via X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) at the Hefei Mineral Resources Supervision and Testing Center, Ministry of Natural Resources. All observations and data collection were performed strictly in accordance with experimental and instrument operating protocols to ensure data quality. All final data are reported to two decimal places.
