MEDISCAN is a Snowflake Native App purpose-built for healthcare document processing. Upload medical PDFs or scanned images, extract structured clinical data, review uncertain results, and query the output, all without data leaving your Snowflake account.

## **How it works**

1. Upload PDFs or scanned images to the MEDISCAN stage in your Snowflake account
2. The extraction model identifies key clinical fields and assigns a confidence score to each document
3. Documents meeting your accuracy threshold are written directly to a structured results table
4. Documents below threshold enter a guided review queue where staff verify and correct fields before data is committed
5. Extracted data is immediately queryable in Snowflake, ready for integration with eMR systems, data lakes, or analytics platforms
