Base level regional delivery-sustainable environment

This proposal builds on existing successful NRM North programs that have been developed following extensive community consultation over the past 10 years. This project works with multiple delivery mechanisms including devolved grants, sub-regional facilitators, program coordinators and property management planning. The resulting benefits include provision of support to the community, empowered local NRM groups; reduced threats to internationally significant wetlands, reduced threats to and enhanced habitats for threatened species and ecosystems; and public and private landholders, the community (including Indigenous) and schools with improved skills and knowledge in NRM.
