The Bio-fiber Injection Molding Experimental Dataset is a comprehensive collection of experimental and simulation data, primarily documenting data gathered from bio-fiber injection molding experiments conducted on a dedicated experimental platform. This dataset covers core data items of bio-fiber injection molding experiments, including but not limited to the flow process of injection molding fluids, the law of fiber orientation distribution during the flow process, the impact of different injection gates on the performance of injection-molded parts, and other relevant contents. The data is derived from multiple repeated experiments and digital post-processing of experimental results, with high reliability and accuracy. This dataset aims to provide reference and support for bio-fiber injection molding experimental research, and is of great significance for the research, optimization and application of bioplastic materials. This dataset records a series of experiments conducted from December 2021 to July 2022, in which a visualized bioplastic injection molding experimental platform was used to study the law of fiber orientation distribution during the flow process. The temporal accuracy of the dataset is at the second level, and experimental data under different conditions such as different injection gates and injection parameters are recorded. The spatial scope is within the experimental platform, and the spatial accuracy depends on the precision of the measuring instruments used. The data is calculated and analyzed by combining high-speed cameras and numerical simulations, through comparing observations of the injection molding fluid flow process with numerical simulation results. During the data collection process, parameters such as the temperature and humidity of the experimental platform were strictly controlled. During the data processing stage, noise and outliers in the data were screened and cleaned to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data. The main data items included in this dataset are: fiber orientation distribution maps, high-speed camera videos of the injection molding flow process, numerical simulation results, parameters such as temperature and humidity collected during the experiment, and other relevant experimental data.
